Ron Gjerde
Ron is an attorney with extensive experience in organizational development, training, change management, performance management, succession management, and project management.
He helped restructure Equity’s training and education department, which had an annual training budget of $9 million. In 2008, Equity was named one of the Top 125 Training Companies in America by Training Magazine for the seventh year in a row. Equity was also given the ASTD Best Award for excellence in training the last five years. Ron created Equity’s leadership development program which was named one of the top 25 programs in the country by Leadership Excellence magazine in 2007.
He is an expert in the analysis of business needs and the development of systems and strategic plans that achieve established goals, strategies, and budgets. He has worked with real estate, financial services, and manufacturing companies.
He has also been effective in working with public officials and legislative/executive branch offices on legislative and regulatory issues – and has successfully received millions of dollars in federal and state grants.
Ron has been a coach to executives at all levels to improve performance and created an in-house certified coaching program.
Ron currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the ASTD Certification Institute. He has previously served on the board’s of both the National Apartment Association, and Chicagoland Apartment Association.
